新任命
近日，青岛海尔洲际酒店宣布任命贾伟德先生Mr. Michael Chia为酒店新任总经理，他将全面负责酒店的运营和管理工作，继续传承百年的洲际集团服务理念，为客人创造难忘的体验。
贾伟徳先生是一位充满激情的酒店经营者，在国际知名的酒店集团拥有超过20年的管理经验。具有跨文化敏感性，能够提供推动同事和客人体验所需的强有力的亲身领导力。无论是酒店筹备开业、运营、财务以及人力资源等方面，均具有精神的专业知识和扎实的经验。他在履新之前，也收获了诸多荣誉和奖项，他有能力在竞争激烈的市场中策划酒店开业前的工作，管理业主对酒店装修项目的投资回报。如2020年获得柚子婚礼颁发的“年度杰出总经理”荣誉，2021年5月获得酒店探索之旅酒店颁发的“年度总经理”殊荣。
贾伟徳先生成长于加拿大多伦多，毕业于瑞尔森大学的酒店及旅游管理专业。他先后在香港、台北、澳门、杭州等地多个知名凯悦品牌酒店任职，并获得了卓越的业绩。2011年，他加入文华东方酒店集团，于三亚、香港担任酒店经理及北京担任酒店总经理职务。2019年伊始，担任杭州君悦酒店总经理。
贾伟德先生是一个脚踏实地的人，从基层一路走到今天。如今他带领着海尔洲际酒店的团队将会开辟新的目标，他说道：

在闲暇时间，Michael喜欢循环训练、徒步旅行、瑜伽、慢跑，并喜欢旅行，探索新的地方，体验不同的文化。他也非常期待能体验这座美丽滨海城市的文化与历史。
InterContinental Qingdao has recently announced the appointment of Mr. Michael Chia as the hotel's new General Manager, who will be fully responsible for the hotel's operations and management, continuing the century-old InterContinental Group service philosophy of creating unforgettable experiences for guests.
Mr. Chia is a passionate hotelier with over 20 years of management experience in internationally reputable hotel groups. Cross-culturally sensitive and able to provide strong hands-on leadership needed to drive colleague and guest experience. Mr. Chia has a wealth of expertise and experience in the areas of hotel preparation, operations, finance and human resources. He has the ability to orchestrate hotel pre-opening in a very competitive market, manage return on owner investment on hotel renovation projects and maintain good relationships with owners. This allowed him to receive numerous accolades and awards before his new role. Includes "Outstanding General Manager of the Year" in 2020 by Youzi Wedding and "GM of the Year" in May, 2021, by Hotel Discovery.
Mr. Chia grew up in Toronto, Canada and graduated from Ryerson University with a degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management. He has worked in various well-known Hyatt brand hotels in Hong Kong, Taipei, Macao and Hangzhou, and has achieved outstanding performance. In 2011, he was promoted to Hotel Manager in Sanya and Hong Kong and General Manager in Beijing with Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group. At the beginning of 2019, Mr. Chia assumed the role of General Manager of Grand Hyatt Hangzhou.
Mr. Chia is a down-to-earth person and he is very proud to have worked his way up from the bottom to where he is today. He said: "I enjoy the fulfilment I get from teamwork in delivering unique experiences and unforgettable memories for our guests.” In his leisure time, Michael enjoys circuit training, hiking, Yoga, jogging and love to travel and explore new places and experience different cultures. He is also looking forward to experiencing the culture and history of this beautiful coastal city.
